My germy children came home for the Thanksgiving holiday and left me with a miserable cold. I couldn’t record a podcast episode this week, but I want to share with you a brand-new, animated trailer that my helper, Natasha, made for the Kids Ask Dr. Friendtastic podcast!
Watch it below and let me know what you think!
Friendships can be complicated, but they’re vitally important from childhood through adulthood. The podcast is my labor of love for children. It’s free and will stay free for everyone. I lose money on creating it because I have to pay for technical help, but I want to give kids a place where their authentic questions and genuine concerns about friendships get the attention they deserve.
If you’re a long-time listener, you know that the themes of the Kids Ask Dr. Frientastic podcast are empathy, kindness, and communication. These are essential tools kids will need throughout their lives!
But I can’t do it alone.
Do you want the podcast to continue?
Every episode of the Kids Ask Dr. Friendtastic podcast features an audio recording of a question about friendship from a child in grades K-8. It would be easier if I skipped that (or, as someone suggested, used AI to create kid questions! N.E.V.E.R!!!) But for me, the children’s voices are the heart of it. Plus they are so darn cute!
Will you help, please?
