Hi, I was delighted to learn that Commonsense Media gave the Kids Ask Dr. Friendtastic podcast a glowing five-star review! It’s a joy to be able to hear and answer children’s questions about friendship. I’ll be with family for Easter, so there won’t be a new podcast episode this weekend, but Episode #53 will come out next week.
In my family, the Easter Bunny brings books. When my kids were little, I’d go to library book sales and stock up. They’re all adults, now, but they don’t want me to stop the tradition. I’ll take any excuse to buy books. :)
Get some book excerpts
Here are some treats for you, whether you celebrate Easter or not: I hope you enjoy these excerpts from three of my books.
Moody Moody Cars (for ages 4-8)
Growing Feelings: A Kids’ Guide to Dealing with Emotions About Friends and Other Kids (for ages 6-12)
Kid Confidence: Help Your Child Make Friends, Build Resilience, and Develop Real Self-Esteem (for parents)
Speaking at TEDxAsburyPark!
On April 20, 2024, I’ll be speaking at the TEDxAsburyPark in Holmdel, NJ! This is exciting and slightly terrifying. My topic is: Is It Bullying or Ordinary Meanness? The lineup of speakers looks fantastic. If you’re local, and you’d like to attend, you can get your tickets at a 20% discount if you use this link: bit.ly/Unity-20
